Crosslist from Depop to Vinted
Depop and Vinted sell a lot of the same clothes, but Vinted needs a title, has no hashtags or tags boxes, uses its own size grid and condition words, and caps packages at 4 lb. It charges sellers no selling fee, and the buyer always pays shipping.
- Add a title for Vinted
- 8 photos on Depop, 20 on Vinted
- No selling fees on Vinted

Fees
What each store takes
- Depop: No selling fee for US sellers. Payment processing is 3.3% + $0.45 on the item, shipping and tax; a Boosted listing adds 12%. Depop fee calculator
- Vinted: No fees for selling: you’re paid the item’s price. Vinted fee calculator
On a $40 sale with no shipping or sales tax charged to the buyer, Depop takes $1.77 (you keep $38.23) and Vinted takes $0.00 (you keep $40.00), before any shipping you pay. Fees checked .
By hand
How to move a listing from Depop to Vinted, step by step
Add a phone number on Vinted first
Vinted asks for one on your account before you can list.
Write a title
Depop has none. Use your description’s first line (brand, item, size, color), within 100 characters.
Clean up the description
Vinted has no tags box, so drop the hashtags and write the style words into the sentences instead.
Photos
Vinted takes up to 20, so add the extra angles Depop’s 8 didn’t have room for.
Pick the category, brand and size
Work down Vinted’s catalog, then its brand and size lists. A women’s S is “S / US 4-6”.
Condition, colors and package size
Use the table above, pick up to 2 colors, and choose a package size: Extra small up to 8 oz, Small up to 18 oz, Medium up to 2 lb, Large up to 4 lb.
When it sells, end the other listing
As soon as it sells on Depop or Vinted, end or delete the listing on the other store, so a second buyer can’t pay for an item you no longer have.
Watch out
What trips people up
- Package sizes don’t line up: Depop’s Large is under 2 lb and its Extra large under 10 lb; Vinted stops at 4 lb.
- Depop’s Source, Age and Style tags have no Vinted field. Put the ones that matter (“vintage”, “Y2K”) into the title or description.
- Vinted’s terms don’t allow outside tools Vinted hasn’t authorised, crosslisters included. Listing by hand is fine; see the note below before using any app there.
With MagicListr
One listing fills both forms
Write the item once, and MagicListr fills in each store’s own form for you.
On Depop: Depop’s description-first version with hashtags within its limit, its category and size, its Source, Age and Style tags, and the package size from your package weight.
On Vinted: Vinted’s catalog, brand and size lists (a pants size like 32 becomes Vinted’s W32), its condition words, colors and package size.
When it sells on one, it comes down from the other. Sold on Depop? MagicListr either opens your Vinted listing for you to remove or removes it for you, depending on what you chose. Sold on Vinted? MagicListr takes it down from Depop.
Form details from each store’s own listing form, checked in October 2026, and from Vinted: Selling basics. Fees from each store’s fee page, checked . Stores change their forms, so check what yours shows. Store names are trademarks of their owners; MagicListr isn’t affiliated with them.
