Using Vinted with MagicListr: what to know
MagicListr can fill in your Vinted listings, but Vinted’s rules about outside tools mean there’s a real risk to weigh. Here it is plainly, so you can decide.
What Vinted’s terms say
Vinted’s Terms and Conditions, in force from October 8, 2026, say members may not use external software tools on Vinted unless Vinted has authorised them. They also say Vinted accounts are for personal use. Vinted hasn’t authorised MagicListr, or, as far as we know, any other crosslisting app.
What could happen
Vinted decides what to do about it, not us. What sellers have reported so far is account suspensions, usually for about 24 hours, for using crosslisting or automation tools. Vinted could act more strictly. If Vinted limits or closes your account, MagicListr can’t undo that.
How much MagicListr does on Vinted is up to you
Before your first Vinted listing, the app shows you this and asks you to choose:
- “I’ll press Upload myself”, the lighter option. MagicListr opens Vinted’s own listing form, signed in as you, and fills it in. You check it and press Upload. When the item sells somewhere else, MagicListr opens your Vinted listing and you remove it there.
- “Press Upload for me”. MagicListr fills in the form and presses Upload too, and removes sold listings from Vinted for you, like it does on your other stores. Easier, but more automated.
- “Not now”. Vinted is left out of that post, and the app asks again next time.
Either way, MagicListr doesn’t browse, follow, message, relist or refresh on Vinted. Neither option removes the risk. We save your choice and when you made it.
Changing your mind
- Switch anytime in Settings → Stores (web) or Settings (iPhone and Android): Ask me, I press Upload, or MagicListr presses it.
- Leave Vinted off for any item. Your other stores work the same.
- List on Vinted by hand. Copy your MagicListr listing into Vinted yourself and record the sale in MagicListr when it sells.
