Poshmark’s Like New means “New without tags or like new”, so it covers worn items too. eBay’s New without tags is for items that have never been worn. These are eBay’s clothing conditions; other categories have their own.

How to move a listing from Poshmark to eBay, step by step
Copy the words and gather your photos
Copy your Poshmark title and description, and use your original photos. eBay takes up to 24, so add the label, measurements or flaw shots you didn’t have room for.
Pick eBay’s category
Choose the most specific category eBay offers. That decides which item specifics eBay shows you next.
Fill in the item specifics
Brand, size, color, material and the rest go in their own boxes. Your Poshmark style tags and colors are a good starting point.
Choose the condition and note any flaws
Use the table above, and write any wear in eBay’s condition notes so buyers see it under the condition.
Weigh, measure and set shipping
Weigh the item packed and measure the box. In your shipping policy, decide whether the buyer pays or you offer free shipping; Poshmark’s flat buyer-paid label doesn’t carry over.
Price it
Set your price with eBay’s fees below in mind, choose Buy It Now or an auction, and decide whether to accept Best Offer.
When it sells, end the other listing
As soon as it sells on Poshmark or eBay, end or delete the listing on the other store, so a second buyer can’t pay for an item you no longer have.
Watch out
What trips people up
- Poshmark’s Original Price has no eBay field. Leave it out rather than guessing a retail price.
- Both titles take 80 characters, but eBay buyers search by keywords: lead with brand, item, size and color, not a style tag line.
- Poshmark keeps Petite, Plus and Juniors in separate size sets (“MP” is Petite M). On eBay, fill the size-related item specifics the category shows rather than typing “MP” as the size.
- Poshmark’s fee is on the price only, because the buyer pays Poshmark for shipping. eBay’s percentage is on the total, including shipping and sales tax the buyer pays.
