The rules
Depop fees in 2026, in plain words
- No Depop selling fee for sellers in the US (or the UK and Australia).
- Payment processing (Depop Payments): 3.3% + $0.45, on the item price plus shipping and any sales tax.
- Boosted listings: a 12% boosting fee on the item price (not tax), plus shipping if you didn’t use a Depop shipping label. That’s the rate for US listings boosted from March 23, 2026.
- Fees come off before your sale money is paid to your bank account.
- If a sale is refunded, its fees are reversed too.
Not in the calculator: Sellers outside the US, UK and Australia, who pay a 10% selling fee and PayPal’s processing fee.
Fees checked on against Depop: Seller fees and charges. Stores change their fees, so check there before you count on a number. Depop is a trademark of its owner; MagicListr isn’t affiliated with it.
Questions
Depop fees, answered
Does Depop take 10% in the US?
No. Depop’s 10% selling fee is for sellers outside the UK, US and Australia. US sellers pay payment processing (3.3% + $0.45) and, on Boosted listings, 12%.
How much does Depop take from a $40 sale?
With $5 shipping paid by the buyer and no boost, $1.94 in payment processing, so $43.06 is paid to you before you buy the label. Sales tax the buyer pays adds a little, since processing covers it too.
Do I get Depop’s fees back if I refund?
Yes. When a sale is refunded, the payment processing and any boosting fees are reversed.
